Dance like no-one is watching | Pittsburgh Commercial Photographer

This post has been a long time in the making.  I was asked to take on a special project photographing dancers from a local dance studio.  This is just not any local dance studio this is Wexford Dance Academy.  The Dance school that parents drive from miles away so that their kids can be trained by this group of super talented professionals.  The credentials of these instructors are miles long but their creativity and artistic expression go beyond just dance.  They incorporate arts of all kinds into their studio concept……  music, drawing, writing, and …. now photography… so when they asked me to photograph these gorgeous and exceptionally talented group of ladies, well, I  just couldnt resist!  So after collaborating and concepting with the studio we came up with a idea that was a bit off beat and somewhat close to home to one of the instructors We headed to Ohio, and had the pleasure of meeting a lovely amish family that allowed us to use their barn and land for the day to photograph these beautiful dancers. Aside from the scorching temperatures, the day could not have gone better.. Here are a few images from the day with these up an coming Pro’s !

Really?? Simply Stunning, this young lady is…..

I just cant get enough of this upcoming photograph, it is one of my  favorites,  it just shows how dance  is just in the blood, in every movement and mannerism. So graceful and beautiful, to me this photograph is just breathtaking.

This is how you know they are Wexford Dance Academy Dancers!  This is so difficult to begin with but if you would know what these girls had to balance on in this terrain and hold for me to get the shot, and did i mention it was 90 degrees that day! ..

well, lets just say these girls are true pros!
